Requirement:
Companies seeking legalization for Certificate of Origin for the first time are required to submit documents indicated in number 1 through 5. These documents must be notarized (Notary Public) and authenticated (Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
- Registration of Company Certificate (ROC) – (*Form 9 for Malaysia listed company)
- Memorandum of Article & Association
- Particulars of Board of Directors – (*Form 49 for Malaysia listed company)
- Company registered address – (*Form 44 for Malaysia listed company)
- Manufacturing license
Type of Certificate:
- Certificate of Origin
- Certificate of Free Sales
- Certificate for Human Consumption
- Certificate of Analysis
- Certificate of Quality
- Certificate of Patent
- Certificate of Animal Health
- Certificate of Use
- Other Commercial Certificates issued by local authorities
- Certificate must be issued by a local authority and authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs before legalized by the Venezuelan Embassy
General Documents:
- Commercial Agreements
- Article of Incorporation
- Power of Attorney
- Invoices, Packing/Price List and Bill of Lading
- Authorization Letter
- Notarized Letter
- Other commercial document (to fax to the Embassy to determine the type of document and fee applicable)
- General commercial documents must be notarized by Notary Public or Chamber of Commerce (whichever applicable) and authenticated by Ministry of Foreign Affairs before legalized by the Venezuelan Embassy
The legalization fee per endorsement is RM266.00 for certificate; and RM190.00 for general document. This fee is to be deposited into the Embassy Consular Account (a bank-in slip will be given upon the presentation of the document to be legalized).
Duration to process:
The process will take three (3) working days upon receipt of complete document and relevant fee.

Non Commercial

Requirements:
- Documents must be signed by the person authorized in the school, institution, college or University
- These documents or certificates must be endorsed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Original documents and the photocopies
- Original and photocopies of ID or passport
Birth / Marriage / Death Certificates (RM114.00)
Requirement:
- Certificate must be endorsed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Original documents and the photocopies
- Original and photocopies of ID or passport
The legalization of the above documents or certificates will be free of charge for Venezuelan citizens. For non-Venezuelan citizen, the appropriate fee per endorsement is charged. This fee is to be deposited into the Embassy Consular Account (a bank-in slip will be given upon the presentation of the document to be legalized).
