Procedures for Non-Venezuelans to obtain an authorization for temporary admission of household goods to Venezuela
As with immediate effect the Embassy will not longer issue “Certificate of Use” for non-Venezuelans who will be settling down in our country. They will have to request from the “ Gerencia de Aduana Principal ”of the Port of Entry, an Authorization for Temporary Admission of household goods (Autorizacion de Admisión Temporal) before the shipment arrives in Venezuela .
In order to obtain the mentioned authorization the applicant must enclose to Gerencia de Aduana Principal of the port of entry the following documents:

The original documents provided by the international shipping company (endorsed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and an inventory list in Spanish of the personal effects to be shipped to Venezuela |

Proof of ownership documents |
• |
Photocopy of the applicant’s passport |
• |
Letter of new appointment * |
This request must be done in original and two (2) copies.
