Issued to Non-immigrants who wish to stay in the country to attend professional technical courses, undergraduate or graduate courses at any University or College, or to take part in a practice related to their major field of studies.

Requirements

1. The applicant must submit an application issued by the institution that supports him; this application must inform on the funds available to the student in Venezuela. (If issued by a private person, the attestation must duly prove that the student has sufficient funds to sustain a stay in the country)
2. Letter of admission issued by the educational institution where the student is enrolled or by the enterprise that will supervise his practice
3. Academic degrees and/or attestations

Fax the above documents to the Consular Section. Upon approval, we shall inform you to submit the original passport, photographs and the fees (whichever is applicable) to:

Student Visa fee – RM228.00 or USD60.00

Duration to process: Three (3) working days after receipt of passport and bank-in slip

Mode of Payment: (For Residents in Thailand)

1. Appoint a representative in Malaysia to pay the fees in Malaysia Ringgit
2. By Cash in Malaysia Ringgit
3. By telegraphic transfer (TT) to Embassy of Venezuela - Consular Section, at RHB Bank Berhad, Ground & Mezz Floor, Podium Block Plaza OSK, Jalan Ampang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur

Please make your own arrangement to collect the passport(s) from our Embassy.
Consular Hours: 0900 – 1200 (Monday to Friday)

Approval of the application is at the sole discretion of the Embassy.
The Embassy reserves the right not to disclose any reason for unsuccessful application.

Note: A visa in the category of visitor student is granted for one (1) year with multiple entries, and allow the bearer to stay in the country for up to the same period of time. The Ministry of the Interior and Justice may extend this period of time if duly requested by the applicant, who must present proof of continuation of studies.
